Discus is a database managed by the South Carolina State Library. Individual databases include Science Reference Center, Biography In Context, Novelist K-8 Plus, Middle School Plus, Culture Grams, and African American History.
Citation Resources
Citation Machine- https://www.citationmachine.net/ Does solid APA and MLA citations, but does have lots of advertisements. It will save a list of citations for you as you work in a single session, but not for the long-term.
Scribbr- will do APA or MLA and is free with no ads, https://www.scribbr.com/
Purdue OWL- https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/resources.html has a built-in single citation generator, but also has resources and examples to help you with more obscure or complicated citation questions.
